GAMES REGISTRATION FORM - complete the form as soon as possible and make payment by cash or cheque payable to "ElderActive Recreation Association". The ABSOLUTE DEADLINE to submit the form and fee is June 1, 2008. These can be submitted to the ERA mailbox at Sport Yukon.

BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT - should be done as soon as possible. If you are booking with WestJet, a convention rate of 10 % discount will applied if you quote the following code to your travel agent or to WestJet by phone or on website:     QC#5131
Remember that if you are using Air North to leave Whitehorse you will need to pick up your luggage and recheck it for transfer to a different airline.

Please submit a copy of your airline ticket to ERA as soon as possible to receive your travel subsidy after the Games (mailbox at Sport Yukon - Attention Diana Simpson.

TEAM YUKON HOTEL INFORMATION  - Team Yukon is staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Dieppe, Moncton. This hotel features: free continental breakfast, indoor pool, 100% smoke free, airport shuttle, coin operated laundry, queen or king size rooms. Each room has a fridge, microwave, cable TV, clock radio MP3 ready. Note that there is no restaurant/lounge in this hotel, however restaurants are within close proximity of the hotel. Chefs de Mission will scout out the Games transportation system as it relates to restaurants near the hotel.

BOOKING YOUR ROOM  - contact Diana Simpson at 633-5010 to book your room, and advise her who you wish to share it with. Rooms have been block booked by ERA, so please DO NOT contact the hotel directly. Rooms have been booked from August 25 to 30 inclusive (checkout on August 31^st) and will be paid by ERA and charged against the participant subsidy. If you are arriving earlier or staying longer than those dates, you will be required to pay for your own extra nights directly to the hotel. The more participants who share a room together, the less the overall room cost to each participant.

ARRIVAL AT HOTEL  - when you arrive please ask for the "Sign in Sheer" at the front desk and sign in so we know you have arrived. Look for the Team Yukon Bulletin Board in the Lobby for information. The hotel staff at the front desk will request your credit card upon check-in to cover for any personal room charges you may incur during your stay.

HEALTH FORM  - please bring your health form to Dieppe with you in your carry-on luggage and have an extra list of any medications just in case the form is misplaced. We suggest that you carry your medications in your carry on bag. Remember that all medications in carry on bags must be in its original container showing your name, and placed in a clear plastic bag.

TEAM YUKON BUS TOUR IN DIEPPE  - has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 26^th, after registration. A bus tour registration form with details is included in this package. Deadline to register & make payment of $ 50 is April 1/08. Submit form and payment to ERA's mailbox at Sport Yukon.

TEAM UNIFORM  - because the 2008 Games are in Eastern Canada, the Organizing Committee decided to keep costs as low as possible for participants, so Team Yukon's Uniform will be similar to 2008 - Gold Shirts, Black Pants, Red Jackets. Shirts will be distributed at the Pep Rally. Black pants are to be provided by participants. Previous Games participants can take their Team Jacket to Twisted Stitches for embroidery at no cost (Twisted Stitches donating $ 3/jacket and ERA contributing $2/jacket).  "2008 Canada 55+ Games"   Other embroidery orders (ie. Name on sleeve) will be paid for by participants. Jackets for new participants will cost approximately $ 65.00 to be paid by participants.

TEAM YUKON PEP RALLY & TEAM PHOTO  - will be taking place on Wednesday, June 11^th in the Yukon College Cafeteria, and begins at 6:00 pm sharp! Wear your black pants for the Team Photo. You will be receiving your Team shirts and final information at this Rally. Directional signs strategically located at the College will lead you to parking and the cafeteria.
